Posts: Project Assistant I-II and RA - I
Educational Qualification:
Age Limit: Age limit for Project Assistant at level I/II/RA-I will be as 28/30/35 years respectively which is relaxable upto 5 years for statutory groups & Women.
Job requirements: Selected candidate will be required to work in the area of extraction/synthesis of novel natural products from seaweeds and development of new formulations or functional materials for potential food, pharma and agricultural applications (biostimulant).
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on an interview.
How to Apply: Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the written test followed by walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on 20th May’ 2019 (Monday) at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002. The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a screening test followed by personal interview of the short listed candidates on the same day. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. In case you are employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, you should bring with you a No Objection Certificate from your present employer otherwise you will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

- Project Assistant –I: B.Sc. in Chemical/Biological Sciences or B.Sc. in Agriculture Sciences with 55 %
- Project Assistant –II: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Marine Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Plant Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Agriculture with 55%
- Research Associate-I: M.Tech. in Chemical/Production engineering)/M.Pharm. in Industrial Pharmacy (55%) with two years of experience in scale-up/ production/formulations or Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences/Biological Sciences/Agriculture.
