General Conditions:-
The Division of Marine Biotechnology and Ecology of CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research in frontier areas of modern biology and biotechnology such as stress genomics & proteomics, transgenic, plant-microbe interactions, metagenomics, marine biotechnology, adaptation biology, etc. We are looking for young, talented & motivated persons (M.Sc. in Botany / Plant Biotechnology / Biotechnology) for an ongoing project “Clonal Propagation of Elite Female Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.)”.

The Walk-in-Interview will be held on 25.05.2017 (10.15 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.) at CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The selected / suitable candidate will have the possibility of Ph.D. enrollment in the prestigious AcSIR of CSIR. Specific queries if any, may be addressed to mangalrathore@csmcri.res.in.
The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project/scheme only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR.

Qualifications for JRF:
M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/NET-LS/GATE. Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- pm + HRA as per institutional guidelines.
Qualifications for PA-II:
M.Sc. in Chemistry with 55% marks or equivalent. Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- pm (consolidated) as per institutional guidelines.
Age: Maximum 28 years (for JRF) and 30 yrs (for PA-II) on the date of the interview. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rule.
Job Description: Selected candidates have to work on a DST sponsored project entitled: “Tethered Metalloporphyrin-Molybdenum(dithiolene) Complexes Relevant to the Active Site of Molybdoenzymes”
Duration: This position is purely temporary. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR. Initial appointment is for one year and then it will be renewed annually subject to satisfactory performance.
Interested candidates are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for written test and interview on 5th June 2017 at 10.00 A.M. in this Institute. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The candidates are requested to bring the copies of certificates/ testimonials. The candidates are also requested to bring the following documents:
1. Original Certificates(s), Marksheet(s) (Degree/Diploma, etc.) of the educational qualifications, certificate in support of the date of birth etc.
2. Original Experience Certificates, Testimonials etc.
3. In case you are employed in a Government/Semi-Government or Autonomous Organization, you should bring with you a No Objection Certificate from your present employer. Otherwise, you will have to give a declaration that at present you are un-employed.
