How to Apply: Interested candidates meeting the above requirements may attend the walk-in-interview with a copy of detailed biodata, original certificates along with their attested photocopies and a passport size photograph on September 11, 2018 at 9.30 A.M. at Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, G B Marg, Bhavnagar-364002. The selection of candidates will be done by conducting a personal interview on the same day. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

- Research Associate (RA): 02 Posts
- PhD in Biological Sciences with 1 year of postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.
- Age: Should not be more than 35 years for RA on September 11, 2018 (Relaxation as per CSIR rules).
- Salary: Rs. 36000/- p.m. (fixed)
- Project assistant level-II/III (PA II/III): 04 Posts
- (1 Post) Biotechnology (PA-III)
- Salary: Rs. 28000/- p.m. (fixed)
- Essential qualifications- M.Sc. in Biotechnology with at least 55% marks along with 2 years of experience.
- Desirable: Candidates having research experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
- Job Requirement: Competence in utilization of microalgal biomass for biofertilizer applications.
- (2 Post) Microbiologist (PA-II)
- Salary: - Rs. 25000/- p.m. (fixed)
- Essential qualifications- (1 Post) M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Environmental Science with at least 55% marks.
- Desirable: Candidates having research experience will be preferred.
- Job Requirement: Competence in maintenance of microalgal cultures, microalgal cultivation, environmental parameter analysis along with water and Sediment analysis.
- (1 Post) Biochemist (PA-II)
- Salary: - Rs. 25000/- p.m. (fixed)
- Essential qualifications- (1 Post) M.Sc. in Biochemistry with at least 55% marks.
- Desirable: Candidates having research experience will be preferred.
- Job Requirement: Competence in analysis of microalgal biomass in terms of fatty acid, protein and pigment profiling.
